During the 2020 campaign season, Barak Obama warned the Democratic Party that “Whatever You’ve Done So Far Is Not Enough”, referring to countering the threat from Donald Trump and the Republican Party. This is a little hypocritical because he certainly did not do enough as president. The most obvious example is his refusal to have his party in Congress act to codify Roe v. Wade.

In April 2009, when asked about the Freedom of Choice Act, he responded that it “is not the highest legislative priority.” This set the stage for the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade in June 2022.
